Jupiter – August 20, 2012

I had again the chance of imaging Jupiter after that monstrous monsoon using Meade ETX 125 and Toucam. 244 frames were registered and stacked using Registax, contrast adjusments were done using Gimp, image acquisition via SharpCap.

  1. Nice image. And goodness, doesn’t Jupiter change over the seasons. (I’ve not had a chance to observe it at all this season – whine, complain.)

    • Thanks! 😀

Don’t fret, your skies will get clear soon! I was lucky that Jupiter is an early bird this season, skies were clear by then.

      • Alas, it is raining again … or rather, it is still raining … never known a summer like it. 😦
So keep posting the pics for the poor deprived English, won’t you?

      • Sure! But weather here is kinda erratic, the minute it clears, the minute it rains.
